August in Wien

As of today we have been in Vienna for 1 month! It has gone by really quickly. I think that the 2 years here will go by relatively fast. We are both doing great! Lindsey enjoys gelato a couple of times a week and we have been trying out the local Italian places. Pizza Hut has nothing on the real deal. We do miss Anita's New Mexican style food....mmmm... I think we will have to treat ourselves to Burger King tomorrow...sometimes you just need a burger!

Ryan is working Monday-Friday and Lindsey is currently job hunting. Lindsey still hasn't been able to take German classes, so we're hoping that she can soon! Here are some more pictures of Vienna. We miss everyone from home! Send us emails!

A friend from DC, Kate, came to stay with us a couple of days last week. Kate is one of the most incredible women i have ever met! A special thanks to Kate for spending time with us! Our apartment!

Gruss Gott! We just got internet today, which I am really excited about! Here are a few pictures of our apartment. We've been so busy trying to settle in that we don't have many pictures yet, but don't worry, now that I can update the blog I'll start taking more pictures! The pictures are of our kitchen, living room (with really bright yellow curtains), our small bedroom, and then the doors leading into our bedroom. The area behind the couch by the window will be my art corner...once all of our stuff gets here.
