Naples, Italy

I was a bit nervous to go to Naples because the Mafia is very present there...I learned more about it when I went to my job training from a woman who is posted there. The history of Naples is really interesting, you should check it out sometime. Ruled by many nations over the years and there are many architectural styles to prove it. Recently Naples has had a huge problem getting rid of trash, so it was piling up on the streets. When we were there the problem was much better, but compared to Vienna any city we see seems so dirty.

Piazza del Plebiscito, modeled after the Pantheon

Castel Nuovo, built in the 1200's
This castle was destroyed, besieged and rebuilt several times.
